My Story
When I lost my father, painting became my refuge and has since become a quiet passion. My dad commissioned a portrait of me when I was younger which 40+ years later I still treasure. It inspired me to paint a portrait of him, in warm sepia tones, capturing his joyful spirit. While I can no longer spend time with him, that painting has brought me an incredible sense of solace.
I created this work to help me heal, and now my intention is to extend that same feeling of peace to others. The grief of losing a loved one can be immense. Commissioning a hand-painted portrait is a timeless way to honor their life and keep their memory alive in a way that is tangible, personal, and filled with love.
The Art
Each portrait is hand-painted in sepia-toned acrylic on gallery-wrapped canvas. Sepia tones carry a warmth and depth that mirrors the tenderness of memory. They soften the edges of loss, creating a timeless tribute to the person you love. Your portrait will arrive ready to frame or hang as-is.
How It Works
1. Request & Photo – Send a clear, high-resolution headshot or head-and-shoulders image of your loved one.
2. Connection Call – We’ll schedule a short call so I can learn more about their personality, spirit, and story. You pay a half as a deposit.
3. Painting & Review– I will create your portrait, sending one progress photo before finalizing. You pay the remainder plus shipping.
4. Final Delivery – Your artwork arrives ready to hang or frame, either shipped domestically or picked up locally.

9 in x 12 in – $200
11 in x 14 in – $250
12 in x 16 in – $300
Plus $20 domestic shipping (alternatively, free pickup in the Houston/Sugar Land area). Payment through Zelle or Venmo.
This first release is a trial collection of 10 portraits, each one a heartfelt original. A second series may follow, but for now, these are the only ones available.
